One Home, Generations of Musicians and 133 Years of History to Celebrate!
The Vermoilense Philharmonic Society is celebrating 133 years of existence, dedication and love for our homeland. For more than thirteen decades, grandparents, parents and children have shared the same bench, the same love for music and the honour of wearing our uniform.
To mark this wonderful occasion, we are throwing open our doors and inviting everyone — musicians past and present, pupils from our school, members, families and friends of the SFV — to a weekend of genuine fellowship and sharing.
Commemorative Programme:
Saturday, 21 November (SFV Auditorium)
- 9.00 pm – Concert by the SFV Youth Orchestra
- 9.30 pm – Concert by the SFV Band
- 10.30 pm – Birthday cake
Sunday, 22 November (Vermoil Parish Church)
- 10.00 am – Solemn Mass, accompanied by our Band
- 12.00 pm – Commemorative lunch in the
Parish Hall - 2.30 pm – Performance by the SFV Saxophone Ensemble
- 3.00 pm – Birthday cake The
