AYOM

The international line-up of Ayom was formed in 2018. From this coming together emerged what is now considered one of the most interesting groups on the Brazilian music scene: blending countless musical and rhythmic traditions, Ayom embark on an emotional and intimate journey along the routes of the African diaspora, from the Atlantic to Brazil, Angola and Cape Verde, bringing to life a nomadic and profound musicality – provocative and danceable – where tradition and fusion, the masculine and the feminine, poetry and energy, joy and social commitment coexist.
