STORIES BY MOONLIGHT

Sofia Maúl tells stories in libraries, schools, book fairs, castles, pubs, festivals, squares, golf courses, restaurants, theatres, terraces, airports, caves and beaches, all across the country and even abroad at international storytelling festivals in Germany, Ireland, England, Italy, Belgium, Spain and Poland. Her stories come from near and far, but the ones she most enjoys sharing are those from the small island in the middle of the Atlantic, to which I returned after 20 years living abroad, to be with family and friends, to tell and collect stories, and also to plant dragon trees and take lots of photographs.
‘Contos ao Luar’ is a space for spoken stories; it is an invitation to listen, to let your imagination run wild, and to enjoy the simple pleasure of hearing stories in the open air.
