The Os Unidos do Pinheirinho Sports and Cultural Association is to hold the fourth edition of the Soup Festival on 25 October.
The main aim of this event is to involve the villages surrounding the Association (Reguengo, Sazes, Pinheirinho, Vale da Cavadinha and Motes), the Association’s own sections (Rancho do Pinheirinho), committees (Capela do Pinheirinho, Festivities in Honour of St Peter and the Motes Picnic Committee), as well as groups from other villages (Reguengo Association – UCDR, Estrada Association – ADERCE, Alto dos Crespos Association – ASRCDAC, Barrocal Association – AJEC, Ranha de Baixo Association – AREC, Machada Association – ARDEC, Mata-Mourisca Football Club – UDRCMM and the Charneca Socio-Cultural, Recreational and Folklore Centre – CSCRFC).
The event is open to anyone wishing to sample different types of soups from a wide variety of regions within the municipality of Pombal.
